Advocacy Services

Advocacy Services will focus on engagement with state and local communities that seek just and inclusive laws for cannabis and hemp. Communities that seek to create jobs, professions, and industries within this new paradigm of the cannabis sectors will be the market for advocacy services. Initially My Medicine Consulting will focus in Southern Florida communities that have been supportive toward the hemp and cannabis.
We will work with elected officials, grower associations, processors, dispensaries, state law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and community organizations to create an enabling environment for development that can serve as a model for other communities across the state.
Communities that embrace the economic and societal benefits of effective cannabis laws will be our priority. We will participate in and direct conferences with strategic partners to educate lawmakers, the business community and consumers on the issues confronting Florida as it begins the complex process of unwinding 75+ years of prohibitionist policies.

Health and Wellness
The initial focus will be expanding access of individuals and businesses to medical cannabis products. As this market expands, the demand for product certification and for trained and licensed nurses and health providers will grow, especially for assisted living facilities. Subsequently many tourism facilities, including hotels, spas and vacation destinations will begin to incorporate medical cannabis products in their operations and have to be trained, licensed and regulated at the facility, local, and state levels.
My Medicine Consulting will advise and/or partner with existing health and wellness interests to identify favorable locations/jurisdictions for legally using medical cannabis. We will help in the training and certification of employees and care givers to ensure patients receive the correct dosage of appropriate cannabis products.

Hemp and Agriculture
My Medicine Consulting and its strategic partners will provide consulting services for growers, processors and manufacturers to facilitate their entry into the hemp sector in Florida. Hemp production in Florida will require participation by growers in cooperation with research institutions, grower associations and investors of all styles.
The initial projects will focus on the design of sustainable production of hemp in Broward and neighboring counties with local farmers and investors. We will advocate for the attractiveness of investing in agricultural land, and the benefits of diversifying into drought resistant, soil regenerative, and potential carbon sequestering production of hemp.
